Cleanroom
Contamination-free films for the pharmaceutical, electronics and food industries
Controlled production environment
Our cleanroom operates in accordance with ISO 14644-1 Class 9. The controlled environment allows approximately 400,000 particles (≥0.5 µm) and 70,000 particles (≥5 µm) per cubic metre – significantly cleaner than a conventional industrial environment. The system supplies an average of 1,000 m³/h of filtered air while keeping the temperature at around 23°C. Air filtration and positive pressure continuously prevent external contaminants from entering. This environment is ideal for polyethylene film extrusion and for bag and pouch converting, where hygiene and surface quality are critical.

Benefits of the cleanroom in film production
Operational and design features
This is how we ensure contamination-free production

Design and construction
The cleanroom was designed so that its materials and construction minimise particle adhesion. Smooth surfaces and an easy-to-clean design make regular maintenance simple.

Particle control
The concentration of airborne particles is monitored continuously. Measured values: approx. 400,000 particles (≥0.5 µm) and 70,000 particles (≥5 µm) per cubic metre. This corresponds to ISO Class 9.

Air filtration and air exchange
Our air-exchange system provides a continuous supply of filtered air. The controlled air exchange maintains the specified cleanliness level and a stable temperature of around 23°C.

Personnel protocol
The cleanroom may only be entered in dedicated protective clothing. Strict rules govern our internal hygiene and cleaning protocol.

Airlock entry
The airlock entry system prevents external contaminants from entering and separates the cleanroom air space from the rest of the plant.

Positive pressure
The positive pressure maintained in the cleanroom ensures that, in the event of any leak, clean air flows outward, preventing contamination from entering.
